Translation request
Which languages do you translate into? Do you also handle CEE language combinations?
We translate into more than 50 world languages, including all common European and CEE language combinations. Our corporate clients most frequently request translations from English into Czech, German, Polish, Slovak, Hungarian, or Romanian. We also handle less common languages, and for specific requirements we always verify the availability of a qualified translator.
How much will the translation cost and how can I get a quote?
Simply send the document by email or via our inquiry form. We respond to most requests within 15–60 minutes and then provide an accurate quote along with an estimated delivery date. The price depends on the language combination, text volume, subject matter, and required services. Thanks to translation memories and term glossaries, we reduce costs for recurring projects.
Which file formats can I submit?
We work with a wide range of formats – Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, technical drawings, and localization files such as XLIFF, JSON, and XML. We also handle exports from e-commerce platforms or internal company systems. If your files are non-editable, our in-house DTP team will convert and prepare them so that the translation is ready for print, publication, or web implementation.
Is my data safe with you?
Yes. We work with sensitive information every day and treat all materials as confidential. We use secure tools for data transfer and storage, and both our employees and translators are bound by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). We also adapt to stricter security requirements of law firms, manufacturing companies, and technology businesses.
What do your customers say about you?
Clients appreciate our fast communication, expert quality, reliability, and consistent terminology across projects. Reviews often highlight our professional approach, flexibility, and ability to handle demanding or urgent assignments. You can find feedback from long-term clients on our Google profile.
Delivering translations
How long does a translation take?
A professional translator typically produces 8–10 standard pages per day. The delivery time depends on the document’s length, subject matter, and additional services such as proofreading, revision, or desktop publishing. For extensive technical documentation, we involve multiple translators and harmonize terminology using translation memories. We always confirm the exact deadline before starting the project.
Do you offer express translations?
Yes. If you need a translation delivered quickly — for example before a meeting, deadline, audit, or document submission — we will provide an express solution. Even for urgent projects, we maintain accurate terminology and consistency throughout the text.
Do I need proofreading in addition to the translation?
It depends on the purpose of the text. For documents intended for publication, we recommend stylistic proofreading or linguistic proofreading by a native speaker. For legal, technical, financial, or medical materials, a specialized subject-matter review is advisable. For printed materials, we also offer pre-press proofreading to check formatting and typographic details. We are happy to recommend the most suitable option.
Who will translate my document?
Your project will be handled by experienced linguists and subject-matter specialists. We have extensive expertise in technical translations, legal and financial documents, medical texts, marketing content, and software localization. If you prefer a specific translator you have worked with before, we will be happy to assign them again for future projects.
How do you ensure translation quality?
Quality is ensured through several consecutive steps. We use translation memories, term glossaries, and linguistic technologies to maintain consistent terminology across all documents. Every text undergoes a thorough accuracy, consistency, and language check. For technical and specialized content, we perform an additional review or expert revision. Client feedback is typically implemented promptly and at no extra cost.
How do you ensure the quality of translations?
We are constantly improving our internal processes to increase the value of the services we offer. Each translation undergoes a thorough final review to make sure that all the necessary steps were taken to ensure the perfection of the result. Any resulting changes or feedback are usually implemented promptly and free of charge.
What affects the price of a translation?
The price depends on the language combination, text volume, terminology complexity, turnaround time, and any additional services (proofreading, DTP, localization). Recurring content can be significantly cheaper thanks to translation memories and terminology databases, which reduce the amount of newly translated content. We will prepare a precise quote once we receive your files.
Certified translations
Do you provide certified (sworn) translations?
Yes. We provide certified translations for authorities, courts, banks, companies, and educational institutions in the Czech Republic and abroad. The most frequently translated documents include contracts, birth and marriage certificates, diplomas, company documents, decisions, judgments, and notarial deeds. Certified translations always contain all elements required by the relevant institutions.
What is the process if I need a certified translation?
Send us your document and specify where it will be submitted. Institutional requirements can vary significantly, so we will recommend the correct procedure — whether a regular copy is sufficient or whether an authenticated copy, apostille, or other form of certification is required. We recommend verifying the requirements of the specific institution. More details are available in our certified translation section.
In what form will I receive the certified translation?
We offer both printed and electronic certified translations:
- Standard certified translation – is physically bound to the document and stamped and signed by the sworn translator.
- Electronic certified translation (PDF/A) – is signed with a qualified electronic signature and timestamped.
Some institutions still accept only printed documents.
What is an apostille and when do I need it?
An apostille is a higher level of authentication that confirms the validity of signatures and stamps on documents intended for use in countries that are part of the Hague Convention. It replaces more complex legalization procedures. If the document will be used in a country outside the Hague Convention, superlegalization is required — verification by Czech authorities followed by the embassy of the destination country. We will be happy to advise you on the correct procedure.
Other queries and services
Do you use machine or AI translation?
Yes, when appropriate for the type of content. Technical documentation, manuals, or internal materials are sometimes processed using machine translation with post-editing (MTPE). For legal, marketing, or creative texts, we recommend professional human translation. We use AI tools in a secure environment with no risk of data leakage.
What are CAT tools and how do they improve translation quality?
CAT tools are professional systems that support consistency, speed, and accuracy. They use translation memories, term glossaries, and automated quality checks to ensure unified terminology across all documentation. For recurring content, they help reduce costs by reusing previously translated segments. We use CAT tools for most technical and specialized projects.
How does the technical translation process work step by step?
The process includes several stages: content analysis, project preparation with translation memories and glossaries, translation by a subject-matter specialist, terminology and language review, and optional proofreading by a native speaker or expert reviewer. The final stage includes DTP adjustments, formatting, and structural alignment. The resulting documentation is accurate, consistent, and ready for immediate use.
How can I save money on translations?
Long-term cooperation and the use of translation memories significantly reduce costs for recurring or similarly structured texts. Repeated segments do not need to be translated again, which speeds up delivery and lowers the overall price. You also gain long-term terminology consistency across documents and languages, improving the clarity and quality of your corporate communication.
Do you translate websites, e-commerce platforms, and software?
Yes. We specialize in the localization of websites, online stores, apps, and software for international markets. We translate text content, UX elements, product descriptions, and technical terminology, including SEO localization. The service also includes functional and visual checks after implementation to ensure the content looks natural and performs effectively in the target market.
What is localization and why is it important?
Localization means adapting content to a specific country or region. It goes beyond translation — it includes adjusting terminology, style, currencies, units, formats, cultural references, and often UX and SEO. It is essential for websites, e-commerce platforms, software, and marketing materials to ensure they feel natural and effective in the target market.
Do you offer interpreting services?
Yes. We provide professional interpreting for business meetings, training sessions, presentations, trade fairs, conferences, and online events. We work with experienced consecutive and simultaneous interpreters who are familiar with your industry. For larger events, we can arrange a full interpreting team, equipment, and on-site support.
What is DTP and why is it important?
DTP includes professional typesetting and layout adjustments after translation. It is essential for manuals, technical documentation, catalogs, and marketing materials that must maintain a consistent visual identity across languages. We work with Adobe InDesign and other tools and deliver both print-ready PDFs and editable files.
Why should we choose you?
We combine experienced translators, modern technologies, secure processes, and extensive expertise in technical and specialized translations. We emphasize accuracy, consistency, and clear communication. We are a reliable language partner for companies seeking professional translations and long-term cooperation.
